I'm helping my girlfriend set up a web site for her small business, and I just wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations for a web hosting service. We want something that supports e-commerce, has a good site building tool, and offers a secure server for transactions. Obviously, the less it costs the better, but I'd like to get a good recommendation from someone who has used that service. I looked at OneWebHosting.com (http://onewebhosting.com/index.php), and they looked OK, but I don't really know anything about them.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I and several other freelancers I know have been very happy with HostMySite. Their tech support is the best I've ever experienced, anywhere.

I just checked and they do provide the services you require, though I haven't used them myself. But they are very good about answering questions for prospective customers. I like their Live Chat, and I asked several questions there before I signed up with them.

You could also look into www.mymarkdown.com. I've been pretty happy with their tech support, although I don't host a commercial site.

I've been very happy with 1and1.com

Looks like they only support PayPal, not credit cards. Is that right?
