...so why did it snow briefly yesterday?

Stupid Georgia. I demand a recount!

Yesterday, as I walked a couple doors down from the day job to the corner restaurant to get some coffee, I commented on the weather here in the Deep South - home of the perpetually sweaty and constantly glistening.

This cold weather thing is bullshit. I can't do this every year, so they're just gonna have to do something about this!

Yep. I was out hanging the Xmas lights on the house, with those plastic shingle clip thingys. It was so cold they had lost all of their flexibility - kept snapping off! Grrr. If this keeps up we'll actually have to bring the dogs inside !

Dammit, running an election in the cold makes me sad.

Most years in Georgia, we barely even have a winter. Looks like we might get one this year. If people want to sweat year-round, they should move down to godforsaken Florida.

Bah! Don't worry about it. A few weeks of cold are all we should really expect. I intend to be shirtless and gardening in the yard while drinking beer this New Year's Day, as usual, and laughing at all those snowbound Yankees.
