What happened to the advisory referendum on recall?

In Evanstoned, we voted on such a referendum. Don't even know about Chicago, let alone the rest of Cook County, or the state. But how did it come out?

What surprises me is that the Blag seems to be somewhat more popular (or more accurately, less hated) in Chicago than the suburbs. I wonder why that is? It's not like city Democrats mobilized the troops in support of him.

Words cannot convey the thrill I felt seeing Ed Zotti responded to my post! I know how close "little Ed" is to the Master, and I'm honored that he helped me out in my hour of need, having been a fan of Cecil's since the immaculate inception of the column. I noticed that a poster on that website mentioned how difficult it was to find the information. I couldn't find it in David Orr's website on election results. Amazing. Nice work.
