Looking for the name of a (christmas?) movie

I'm doing this for someone else, and I only have this:

'A factory owner has his granddad coming to visit. As granddad is a bit of a family man, he hires one of his employees and her kid to pretend they're a happy family. Hilarity ensues.'

Can anyone here make sense of that?

I took the liberty of posting your question on the IMDB board, and one of the experts posited that your movie might be Borrowed Hearts (1997) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0132893/). Eh, I think it's a longshot.

Sounds vaguely like a TV movie I saw. Was Roma Downey, Jr. (I know, I know, I just call her that) in it? Was the guy afraid of heights?

Can't remember the name of the telefilm, though. Hell, not certain about Downey, but the fear of heights is from the film for sure.

EDIT: Looked at the link but glazed right over her name. This is it, I think.
