Is that supposed to be shocking or something? *yawn*Yes. They thought the concept was so shocking and alien for today's pristine PG world that they decided to blow your mind with that outrageous video. *yawn*

My favorite part is when Samberg is dressed in the Bush flightsuit at a press conference on the boad and the "mission accomplished" banner reads "I'M ON A BOAT".

Help! I wanna see it!What browser ar you using? Javascript settings are generally somewhere in your browser settings. On Firefox, for example, you go to Tools > Options > Content and make sure the Enable Javascript box is checked.
Also, some security suite software seems to disable Javascript globally, for all browsers. When we visited my MIL's place over the holidays, Javascript wouldn't work in any of her browsers, and it took me a while to find the place in her security software to enable it.

This is the fist time I've ever heard this "T-Pain" person. OK. So, that's his shtick? Pitching shifting his vocals. Doing the exact same thing Godley and Creme did on the song "I Pity Inanimate Objects" on their album Freeze Frame back in 1979?

Isn't it that voice synthesizer shit Madonna used back in the James Bond theme she did? The stuff that lets Britney and the rest of them appear to sing on pitch?

Pretty much, except T-Pain does it with an autotune module, which wasn't invented until the late 1990s. So he is really stealing Cher's schtick.
ETA: You can learn all about T-Pain's mad skillz from da Blizzard Man (http://www.hulu.com/watch/45819/saturday-night-live-blizzard-man).

I think that's a common trend in hip hop music these days. It could just as easily been T.I., Akon, or any other current hip-hop artist.
Rigamarole - I don't think it's supposed to be particularly "shocking", just unexpected. The basic Lonely Planet SNL Digital Short music video formula consists of the following:
-Parody a familiar and cliched music video imagery (in this case, a standard douchebaggy house or dance video)
-Put well known celebrities (Justin Timberlake, Molly Sims and Jaime Lynn Seigler) in minor or supporting roles
-Pick one thing totally over the top (jizzing in pants)
-Film the video as ernestly as possible
So you have what would otherwise be a serious attempt at a genuine but cliched music video rendered hillareous through the addition of a ridiculous element.

I like Jizz in my Pants, but I don't think it's as funny as a friend's video "Takin off all my Clothes off. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJ1SIbE-9Us)' (the guy I know is the one on the whale)

I just discovered "I'm on a Boat" a few days ago, and I've been laughing my ass off every time I see it. Perfect skewering of the R&B/hip-hop video trend of late: inexplicably film the singer/rapper on a boat for the duration of the video to show how $loaded$ they are. I blame Diddy for this trend.
But the fact that T-Pain lent his unique, um, skills, makes it all the funnier.

I don't listen to any radio these days, although I've never been much of a radio listener, although music is one of the most important things in my life. But the music I'm into has never received much radio play.

It took me a couple times to realize that Justin Timberlake is cleaning up aisle 3 in Jizz in My Pants.

Except for Dick in a Box, I turn them all off shortly after the one minute mark.

I couldn't help thinking about this old Tony Powers video from the early 80's. It's one of those things like Bambi Meets Godzilla that eats its way into your soul.
