I searched for Hummingbird feces, and came up with the Hilton Pond website (http://www.hiltonpond.org/ThisWeek040808.html). Nice photos, including some micro images. They are an avid group with lots of hummer info.

Hope Colibri checks in, he's bound to have some good tales of what comes out the hummer's tails.

I don't think I can improve much on the Hilton Pond website. As they say, hummers produce a lot of very dilute urine (because of their mostly liquid diet), plus some fairly typical (if tiny) bird turds consisting of insect remains (mostly black) plus uric acid (white).

I was standing outside a restaurant in NM (Cloudcroft? Ruidoso? around there) that had a h-bird feeder outside of it. It was up kind of high, and the folks under it didn't notice the shit raining upon their heads. I was off to the side a bit and could see the little turd-specks falling down from the very busy feeder. They were pretty small.

So they're small enough that you won't notice them falling on you. Don't stand under a feeder!
