John Lennon was into numerology, and was obsessed with the number 9. Besides "Revolution 9", he also had "Dream #9" and "Two Virgins No. 9". Lennon was born on Oct. 9, the Beatles signed their first recording contract on May 9, they performed on Ed Sullivan on Feb. 9, his son Sean was born on Oct. 9, and John was shot on Dec. 8 (the 9th UK time).
