- - - I asked how to eliminate this program's entries from the registry a couple days ago because I needed to open a particular graphic file and couldn't otherwise. I wanted to re-install the trial version, but never did figure out how. I found PSP7 on sale somewhere and bought it anyway.

- The first couple days I had it, everything worked fine.
- Now, this morning, today, when I try to draw a freehand line, it connects the ends of the freehand line with another straight line, and fills the enclosed areas in with another background color. I don't want it to, I didn't ask it to, the first couple days it didn't. The book says nothing about this that I can quickly find; the help files don't say how to prevent it from doing this; they only say how to choose the color it uses. I even uninstalled and reinstalled, and the program came back with all the settings it had when it left. WTF? - MC

- - - Perhaps I should clarify: when I draw a freehand line, it performs a fill on the line ends, and I don't want it to at all. I can't find anything anywhere that says how to unset this "feature".
---And speaking of those[i] things, this program sure likes it's illegal operations, at least on my machine. Is it like this for everybody? It bombs out a [i]lot. I note there's no patches for ver 7. - MC

Why not try a right click when you're doing a line? Usually a menu comes up with settings you can change. Im sure the program has preferences where you can change settings.
