That's a pretty safe statement, I dare anyone to try and defend her words or attitude any under pretense. However, free speech also protects those things that many of us find abhorrent and disgusting. So, in order for us to have free speech, we have to also allow free speech for scum. That's how it works.

I'm anxious to see if this is mentioned on the news opinion shows like Olbermann and O'Reilly.

If I were a news director for such a show (lets got with Olbermann in my case), it'd be a tough decision whether or not to cover it. On one hand, it's an absolutely despicable display of inhumanity that doesn't deserve to be immortalized by commenting on it. On the other hand, you could use that as an example of the fear and hatred being perpetuated by the misinformation campaigns. On the other other hand, doing so might be seen as unfair, since it's a pretty far extreme and shouldn't be portrayed as representative of the larger movement.

Forced to make that decision, I might just quit my job and use all of my remaining money in effort to have that woman put down like an ailing pet.
