I have a relative (no, it isn't me!) who had been convicted of a felony and is now looking to petition the court to have the conviction's status changed to misdemeanor. Assuming this is feasible--and no, he hasn't done time in Chino, San Quentin or Folsom--is there a CA statute or court form (for Fresno County, if that's necessary) that he could use to bolster his petition?
