What was in the box???!!! Why didn't Chuck (Hanks) open the "Winged" box? I mean, after 4 years???

Why did the movie end so damn soon???!!!!

I went last night to see it, and we were all disappointed with the ending (no spoilers in this post). The huge emotional buildup was let go of rather carelessly. At least you could feel pretty sure what Chuck Noland's next move was going to be, although they didn't show it.

What bothers me is: what the heck was wrong with that crab leg? It had yucky goop instead of meat? Or was the crab sick?
