I noticed that a few of the sitcoms I watch (Frasier, for one) are produced by Christopher Lloyd. Is this the Christopher Lloyd from "Back to the Future", "Taxi" and that Long Distance commercial?

Nope. The actor and the producer are two different people.

Tom Synder the host differs from Tom Snyder the Director/Composer/Producer.

There's also yet another Tom Snyder (aka W. Thomas Snyder) who assistant directed the hell out of many movies like Tin Cup and Wild at Heart.
