Dish network grounding question signal strength and grounding

Dish has a user forum. Most, not all, say most signal strength errors with established setups are a grounding problem.

Dish had grounding problems upon installation four years ago and there were several really annoying service calls. (I am out in the desert, far from weather and trees.)How could I do it myself?

Dish seems to be hiding instructions, but DirecTV has instructions online. No fear - grounding a satellite dish is the same, regardless of the company. Grounding info is at about page 30 of this PDF (http://www.directv.com/learn/pdf/SelfInstallGuide.pdf).
