Can the PM limit be raised

I have private messages I don't want to delete, and I've been converting them to word documents to make room. The 50 PM limit for both sent and received messages gets filled quickly.

Can a function be added so that we members who want to can pay an extra fee to get more PM storage (maybe 500 or so PMs instead of 50)?

I think paying members get 100 pms instead of 50. As an alternative, you can go to your UserCP, select "Edit Options", scroll down and check:

The forum can send a message to your email address to inform you when someone sends you a private message.
Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages

The notice contains the text of the pm, and you can store it in your email.

Oakminster is correct. Members get more PM storage. In fact, as a test, we've just raised the number for subscribers from 100 to 200.

Another option, Wesley, is that the PM notification you receive via email also contains the message. You can always folder those.
