I just had an attorney tell me that my rates for being deposed were "very, very reasonable" in a tone that let me know she had never seen rates so low and was just stopping herself from dancing with glee and/or calling me an idiot.

Oh, well. Next time I will triple them. :p

Ever been told is a subtle way that you messed up big time?

I posted an item for sale on Etsy.com for what I though was a reasonable price with free shipping to US buyers and appropriate shipping costs for international buyers. It was purchased by someone in Ontario almost immediately, at which point I realized I had (1) priced it unnecessarily low and (2) set the shipping cost to "free" for buyers outside the US.

The buyer was a good sport and did pay for shipping.
