Did Anson "Potsie" Williams ever teach a history course? Or, do you have any idea what this may be?

A co-worker insists to me that Anson Williams (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0930041/#producer), bka Potsie on HAPPY DAYS, taught a history course at a college in the 1990s and that there was a documentary filmed about it. I can find absolutely no record of this or anything like. Directed eps of STAR TREK, BOY MEETS WORLD, and other shows- check. Game show host- check. Owned a small chain of restaurants patterned on Arnolds from HAPPY DAYS- check. Real name Heimlick and from the same family as the 'Maneuver' guy- check. Became a professor? Nothing seems to indicate this.

So, does anybody have any idea whether

1- this is true
or
2- if not true, what this guy might be thinking about?

I love Robert Wuhl, but I can't see mistaking him for Anson Williams, unless Anson Williams has aged strangely.
