How many siblings do you have? Brothers, sisters, or both? Are they older, younger, same-age (twins, triplets, etc) or a mixture?
I have three siblings, all from my parents' first marriages. Two half-brothers, and a half-sisters. They range from 13 to 19 years older than me.

Seven. One brother below, one brother and five sisters above.

By "round up" I meant "count half-siblings has full siblings". :smack: Sorry I didn't phrase it better.

Do step siblings count? This can get messy, as I have 1 full sister, 2 step sisters who I was raised with and I count as my sisters, plus a step sister and step brother who I'm not close to. Who counts?

I had four. I'm down to three now, and you said how many do you have, not how many were born into your family.

One younger sister. We're 11 years apart. Same parents. They had us : Me when they were 19/ her when they were 30.
The folks are still married and don't seem to hate each other, which is sweet.
I'm 40.

I have five who I count as siblings: One brother above, one sister below, then an acquisition (stepsister) and two mergers (half brother and half sister). I also have two acquisitions who were so late acquired that they are more like cousins than siblings, one older stepsister and one younger stepbrother. And just to round things out I have a younger ex stepbrother but I don't know where he went, which made me sad for many years. It was harder to lose him than to lose his mother \as she was something of a loon.
(For those following along at home, dad remarried twice, both times to women with kids, and is now a widower; mom remarried once and is still married)
So technically I have 8 but I only count 5 as siblings.

I've got an older stepbrother, a younger stepsister, (mom's remarriage) a younger brother, and a newly acquired younger stepsister (dad's remarriage). The youngest stepsister is the only one who doesn't really feel like a sister yet; she's 6 years younger than me, we've never lived in the same house, and she spent a couple of years (dad dated his now-wife for quite a while) living with her dad in another state. I like her and wouldn't mind more of a sisterly bond, we just haven't put in the years yet to get there. I also have a sister-in-law who feels more like a kid sister - she's 12 years younger than my husband, 11 years younger than me, so I've known her for almost half her life at this point. I'm a big believer in family being what you make it, not just what you're born with.

Two.
One hasn't spoken to me in the past two years, and I am not particularly upset about that fact.
I speak with the other on a regular basis and he visits once or twice a year.
Two. One brother, two years younger than me, and one sister, four years younger than me.

You're "winning", so far (or losing, depending on your perspective). BTW, does this explain why you became a runner: to get away?

Two younger half-brothers, 5 and 8 years younger than me. I grew up apart from them, but now that we're all adults, I really do think of them as "brothers".

I'm an only child. :(
Two sisters (possibly three if you count the one that died shortly after birth), one half-brother via my mum, one half-sister via my dad*, three half-brothers via my dad*, two step-sisters, three step-brothers.
So, 12 or 13 depending on how you count it.
*That I can confirm. There may be more.
One younger brother.
It was the late 70s/early 80s and my parents were into the whole zero population growth thing.

Apparently, I have two.
One is my half sister who is 11 years younger than I am. We grew up in the same house.
The other is a sister who I never met that my Mom gave up for adoption. I can't recall if she's older or younger. I only learned this in the past year. Family secrets suck.

I have 6: 3 older brothers, one adopted younger sister who has passed, and 2 younger step-brothers that the 3 older brothers refuse to acknowledge.
The interesting thing is that on the one hand i'm the 'baby' of the family. One the other hand, i'm the 'big sister.'
It's kind of neat.

There should be an option for "It's Complicated."
From my mother and father's union with each other, I am an only child.
Mom remarried; stepdad had two kids from previous marriage. They also had a baby boy. So that means that on my mom's side I have a half and two steps.
Dad remarried; he and his wife had a baby girl. Dad remarried again; his third wife had two kids from a previous marriage. So that means that on my dad's side I have a half and two steps.

Either none or two. I was an only child, but acquired two step-brothers ( one my age, one two years older ) fairly early, though we didn't actually live in the same house until I had hit eighth grade. But since their kids call me "uncle", I guess they qualify ;).

There are seven of us (me and six siblings), which most people think of as being a large family, but I knew three families with 14 kids when I was growing up so I've never thought of our family as being particularly large.

Heh - that sounds like my family. Five girls in 10 years - at least the last one wasn't twins. Well, my oldest two sisters and youngest two sisters were born less than a year apart, so Irish twins, I guess. Except we're not Irish or Catholic.

Although I have no kids, between my 3 brothers I have 15 nieces & nephews, all from first marriages (no steps or halfs).
I used to call them the Stepford brothers because all three of their wives had overlapping pregnancies the first 3 rounds. Since my 3 older brothers were Irish triplets (1 brother, then 10 months later twin brothers) - they have always been competitive. But that seemed kind of ridiculous to me.
The youngest brother has 7 kids - 1 girl, 1 boy, girl, girl, twin girls, girl. They don't even have the excuse they were trying for a boy. My SIL was FB a few months ago bemoaning that her baby just turned six and she was considering having another one. Then she re-posted that she would just wait impatiently for grandbabies. This squicked me out, her oldest daughter just graduated high school last year.

I have one older sister. There is a small part of me that thinks there was another kid that was delivered to my mother. My sister's birth certificate said that Mom had a prior delivery and my birth certificate says that there were two prior deliveries. Mom (and anyone in her family that would know) are all dead now and my father denies it. But that is something that he would not tell me.

I have (or had) eight siblings, for a total of nine kids in the family, seven boys, two girls.
I was the second youngest, and the baby of the family for almost eight years until my younger brother came along. All from the same parents. My folks definitely liked kids. :)
All grew to adulthood, but we've lost three in the last five years. Still, I always think of us as nine.

I didn't count step-brothers. My Dad has remarried twice, and both wives had three sons. I never considered them "brothers" as we were all adults when they married. In fact, I can barely remember their names, and I definitely don't know their wives and kids names.
Two brothers, both younger than me. I know there were quite a few miscarriages both before me and between me and #2.

Four altogether - Two half-brothers, a half-sister, and an adopted sister.
Oldest brother (42), second oldest brother (39), adopted sister (35), me (32), half-sister (18). All halves from same parent. I haven't seen my adopted sister in 18 years but would like to.

Six. 3 older brothers, 1 older sister, 2 younger sisters. I have 6 steps but I don't count them because we were all pretty much adults when my dad got remarried. I'm not sure I could remember all their names.
