Things like 'What's your porn star name / Star Wars name' etc. accompanied by the appropriate formula. Could anyone kindly save me a ton of trawling, and list any examples they know?

Minor side issue. Like FOAF/urban myth stories, these things seem to get started without anyone being able to say who, how, why or when. If y'all have any clues as to the origins of any examples you cite, that would be cool. But it's the examples and formulas (formulae?) that I'm really after.

Apologies, Manhattan. I didn't mean to rile you, and I wasn't trying to start an unwelcome thread. In any case, nobody so far has really provided the kind of info I was after, which was just different variants and their formulas, plus any provenance if known.

It's your forum, and I'm just a guest, so kill it if you hate it that much. I did consider posting to MPSIMS instead but in the end it just seemed to fit GQ best of all.
