I am backcalculating some college debts and was curious where I would be if I had done things differently. I took out Stafford subsidized loans in 1995-1998 at 3.75% and in 1999 at 2.77%. So the first question is: Could I have obtained the same interest rate for unsubsidized loans at those same rates?
I consolidated in 2004 at 2.15%. Could I have done that also with unsubsidized loans?
