I do, I skip the entire scene from when Charlie enters. It is the worst part of the film imo. I usually don't skip anything in movies.

It's also a pretty simple three-word sentence. Though it does have the clues of the given name "Charlie," and the OP saying it's something that takes place in a movie. And that it was sad.

No, it's not okay -- in fact, the forum rules (http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=343601) mention specifically that you should avoid cryptic titles.
There are lots of threads, and most people don't have the time or inclination to read through every one to discover which ones they're most interested in. Please, when you start a thread, be sure the title you create is reasonably descriptive of the topic.

Hey, all I'm saying is that things aren't always that obvious to people without the same frame of reference—or some frame of reference. A good thread could lose out that way, and unnecessarily.

Oh yeah, I really hate that part of the movie. I've heard that people like it, but I always found it too slow and sad when I was a kid.

I like that movie a lot and always find it interesting to look up what happened to people in it(aside from Gene Wilder and Jack Albertson, of course).

I also fast forward through what I call "the dopey firefly song" in Disney's Robin Hood, and there's one song in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang that I zap right through.
