Most important question you could possibly consider today!
In the commercials to put the 'M' back in your morning. Are the people not speaking the 'M's or are the people listening not hearing the 'M's?

Do you have a link to the commercial? Is it on youtube or something?

I think the speakers are not saying the M's, but I never really considered it from the other side.
I am not anxious to go back for anther look, though. That weather girl especially bugs the crap out of me for some reason.

They think my morning needs more M?
Umm... the word for morning in Finnish is "aamu". If I add another M... I get "aammu" which is disconcertingly close to "ammu" = shoot. Is McDonald's telling me to shoot people? I'm a bit worried now.

They're all over TV so I thought it would be easy to find videos online. Not so Much! My google-fu doesn't seem to be up to it.
I thought it was the speakers as well at first, but all the people reaching for their McDonalds cups are the listeners!
I find the weather girl kinda cute...

As an amateur Advertising geek that actually sounds like a cool little campaign. It's catchy, it involves the brand (golden arches). I'd have to actually see it, but on paper it actually looks pretty good.

I have no idea what anyone's talking about.

How bizarre. Is this a Chicago area ad campaign? We even have billboards on the buses.

There's a series of McDonald's commercials on radio, TV, and print based around dropping all the "m"s in the written and spoken word, with the slogan "Put the 'M' back in your morning." Here's a picture of the billboards. (http://betterretail.wordpress.com/2010/07/19/mcd-billboard-ad/) The idea, as I interpret it, is that your morning isn't quite completely without a McDonald's breakfast/coffee.

Huh. I didn't even consider that, but the link I supplied has a CTA bus in it, so maybe it is a local campaign. It's ubiquitous here.

Ugh. This does nothing to shake my belief that McDonalds' advertising agency should be the first up against the wall when the revolution comes.

Seeing it makes me like it all the more. Pretty clever overall.
