I was a big fan of Keith. A couple of years ago, he was the Source of Truth. Then came Rachel Maddow who is so much better than Keith ever was.
Further, Keith has gotten worse. I stay somewhat current on Keith and Rachel on YouTube, and Keith is hardly worth my time anymore.
I mean the pseudo-conservatives write their own comedy, does a commentator really need to resort to name-calling and funny voices? The Daily Show's Jon Stewart was spot on in his commentary on this.
I do like the Thurber stories. I like the Worst Person in the World, I do not like the daily countdown of days.
Olbermann comments on the news, Maddow makes the news and darn near sets the agenda.
Has Olbermann jumped the shark?

How can someone who started out as a parody of himself jump the shark? He was on the far side of the freaking shark from day one.

Gotta confess Olbermann's pompousness and annoyingly mannered dellivery get up my nose. I hate it when Limbaugh and all those FOX douchebags resort to the name-calling and silly voices; equally so when Olbermann does it. I really am not looking for that sort of sophmoric 'entertainment' from news commentators at all.
I'm not really sure what the point is of MSNBC having three commentators in a row (Mathews, Olbermann, Maddow) essentially covering the same stories anyway. Of the three I currently find Maddow consistently the most interesting, with Mathews a distant second.

I agree. The guy is basically just the liberal version of O'Reilly - in other words, a massive douchebag.

I agree with this. I disagree with many equivalency arguments right wingers try to make but when the argue Obermann is just as bad as O'Rielly I think that is spot on. Both are terrible partisan hacks. Nothing makes me want to sit down and watch them. After I do I'd have to fact check anything they said anyway as I don't believe either to be honest.
I probably see just as much O'Rielly as Obermann. I let YouTube filter out the more interesting/controversial things they have to say. My opinion being if it didn't make it to YouTube, it is probably just the standard partisan BS I have no time for. Chances are the clips making it to YouTube are the same category but at least people are talking about them and when I hear the conversation I have an idea of whats going on.
Rachel on the other hand I love her.
