I wouldn't mind it if Winter were over

Well, it's Candlemas and the groundhog saw his shadow. We had a white Christmas, the kids have gone sledding, and most of the earwigs are dead from the cold. Winter can end now.

I just wish Florida would decide whether it's going to be cold or hot. When I go from ice on the windshield of my truck one morning to wearing short sleeves, a short skirt and no jacket, and NOT being cold the next day, something is far wrong. No wonder everyone I know is sick. As far as I'm concerned it could just settle for a nice spring-like weather for a couple months.

I'm just glad that I don't live in the northern climes. I woke up this morning and the temp in Kansas City (where I almost moved to) was 1. That's it, just 1.

Here in Dallas, it's supposed to be sunny and in the low 60s. Can't beat that with a stick.

My question is how, with snow falling and obvious cloud cover, did Phil see his shadow? Screwy I tell ya.

I just came back from Maui. Warm warm warm......No winter there it seems.
