Sam and Dean investigate suicides. I suspect there will also be more of a confrontation regarding what became of Sam when he jumped into the Pit.

I'm hoping we can still learn what is going on with Sam in this episode. I'm beginning to wonder if he just got his soul damaged in Hell.

Judging by the previews I was right about what I said was wrong with Sam in last week's thread.

I couldn't make sense of how the truth virus was spread. All you had to do was talk to someone who'd been infected, and you'd have to tell the truth as well?
I didn't like the ending at all and frankly, brother against brother was old in the second season. I think the show's run its course.

Yeah, thanks previews.
I guess it is obvious, though. I was assuming the same thing the previews said.

I really think it should have ended with the end of last season.

It wasn't a virus. It was the Veritas the goddess of truth had taken up residence in town, so anyone who asked for the truth while in town got it, in spades.
Anyone else cringe at the goddess that turns into a cat eating tongues? Cat got your tongue? :smack::smack::smack:
Bobby confessing about his guilty TV pleasures was pretty funny.

I only heard the part about the pedicures. Which TV shows does he watch?

Ahhh, okay. I was seeing some of the truth-tellers drink something first (Bobby took a drink of milk before he started spilling the beans), and I was thinking "in vino veritas". I started watching for people to drink something, and when some of them didn't, I got confused.
The woman who had the new boobs -- I don't remember Dean or the barmaid asking her anything. Didn't she just volunteer that she needed attention?

I think the way it worked was, once you asked for the truth then everyone around you would start giving it to you. Whether you wanted it or not.
They never did explain how Sam was able to lie to Dean or Veritas. Sure they said he hasn't been able to feel things since he came back, but I don't see how that enables one to lie to the truth god.

I think it has to do with what is wrong with him, which was revealed in the previews for next week(but I won't share).
Veritas said Sam wasn't human, so I'm assuming it only works on humans.

That reality show about Torri Spelling and her husband

Didn't he call her a fine actress as well?

Okay, so what was with the beating Dean gave Sam at the end? That was brutal (and reminiscent of the beating Dean got at the end of last season).

I figured he wanted to knock Sam unconscious so he'd be able to tie him up.

I think he's still really really pissed at Sam for not stopping the vampire in the previous episode.
I finally watched it! Contrary to other opinions, I am actually really enjoying this season. More so than last season, I think, which really only had one standout episode, IMHO (Dark Side of the Moon).
Note to self: watch tonight's episode BEFORE next Friday.
