I am looking for a good port wine cheddar

Back in the day, the local deli had a great port wine cheddar. The creamery stopped making it, And now I try to make do with kaukauna port wine cheese, or black diamond merlot cheddar. Does anyone know of a really good port wine cheddar?

Yes, if you mean a spreadable wine cheddar. (Not sure about "Port".) Check out Renards cheese. (http://www.renards.com/) They ship, and I've never had a Renard's cheese that wasn't good.

Margaret River (http://www.mrdc.com.au/products.htm#cheddarc) dairy makes a beautiful port cheddar. Of course, this is only useful info if you live in Australia: it's only available in Australian stores, and I don't think they ship. Boo!

We'll be there in March, though. Whee!
