Help me find some downloadable ESL games

(ESL = English as a second language)
I'm doing some voluntary work helping a number of people (adults from various countries) learn English. At present I am looking for free ESL games that can be downloaded and run on computers with no Internet connection. I would be happy with any sort of free ESL software but something game-like is my preference.
So far I have found a few hangman type games and lots of online games (useless in this situation). I would like any help I can get.

search on Zak's Browser. It's not ESL but it was commissioned by a grandfather to help hisautistic grandson. The browser is really a portal to a lot of education and entertainment suitable for kids and presented in a simple manner. There are different ABC and other games on there that are probably good for some ESL kids trying to learn English.
