I got the job!

I had my second interview yesterday and they just called me this morning.

I will be making $17K more then I am now, four weeks vacation, every second Friday off, bonus, savings and stock option plans, great benefits, AND they will pay for my Masters program.

The start date is May 10. I'm going to be nice to my boss and not ruin his vacation this weekend by giving my notice tomorrow, so I'll send the letter on Monday with an resignation date of April 29 so I can have a week off in between.

I can't believe this! I'm so, so excited. :D

Congratulations! Sounds like you got a helluva upgrade with the new job. If your boss had been a pain to you, I'd personally just tell him now and ruin his weekend, but I'm obviously not as decent a person as you. :)

I think I may send the letter tomorrow afternoon. I want to clear my personal stuff out and get my files off of my laptop before I do anything.

He recently wrote and sent a recommendation letter to a university I'm applying to. He can't revoke that, can he?
