How much does something like this cost? Ball park figures:

And what about adding a wall around it like here?

Just looking for general costs, if anyone has any experience. I am just trying to budget for a remodel. Thanks!

I paid $5000 - for35x15 about 6 years ago, but it included removal of an old deck and as it's a raised patio it required steps on both ends. I love it - beautiful and maintenance free.

Depends on your climate, because that affects how deep the footing needs to be for a mortar-joint wall. If you are just stacking the blocks or they have some sort of interlock system, a footing may not be necessary.

Here in Chicago, I've just contracted for 80 square meters of pavers to cost $12,000 (your picture appears to show poured concrete with fake joints rather than actual paving blocks). A brick wall 30 meters in length (50 cm high) is costing us $13,000.
