View Full Version : Recommend a Nose Hair Trimmer

Inspired by this thread (http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=615584), wherein several posters allude to the above named device in favorable terms. The few times I have used one it seemed to prefer pulling the hair out. If you have one that works well, please share it with me (not the actual device, mind you, just the brand name or where you got it).
Some one that I see regularly in a social context mentioned to me that my nose hairs were getting a bit long. I killed that person and buried them in a shallow grave, but now I need to deal with the nose hair situation before I need to kill again.

I use a cheap eyebrow trimmer of this (http://www.amazon.com/Personna-Eyebrow-Trimmer-Shaper-Women/dp/B002RD182M) type. It works well and doesn't pull. Did I mention that it was also cheap?

Small, rounded-end scissors work just fine for m...y friend who has this problem.

I have one of those rotating motorized jobbies, and I have to say it does get the hairs shorter than the round-ended scissors I used to use (a la KneadToKnow) - it's easier to get well into tight spaces. Sorry I'm not at home and I don't remember the brand name, but it's part of a set that includes a mustache trimmer, which I also use.
However, I am sorely tempted to try the other gadget that Fiddle Peghead is suggesting. They look like they would be faster, and I could also use them for ear hair.

This is what you want right here — Wahl trimmer (http://http://www.wahl-store.com/detail/WAH+5567%2D200). Inexpensive and no pulling, sayeth the hairy one in my family.
