It was on my husbands tomato plants along with quite a few of its relatives. I've Googled around but haven't found anything that looks like this.

(Sorry for the crappy pictures, I had trouble getting the camera to focus on something that small.)

It looks like a keeled treehopper nymph (http://www.whatsthatbug.com/2009/04/05/keeled-treehopper-nymphs/)...in other words, the baby version of the keeled treehopper (http://bugguide.net/node/view/38008/bgpage).

Yup, you got it in one! We even have ants all over in there getting the honeydew from these aphid-type bugs. Guess I'd better go get some keeled treehopper nymph killer.
