So I woke up this morning to find that someone had used my iTunes ID to download the game "Flight Tycoon" and something like $350 worth of in-app purchases for it. :smack:
Since then I have:
1) Changed my Apple password
2) Contacted PayPal and set up a dispute on all charges.
3) Contacted my bank and put in a preemptive Stop Payment for charges coming from PayPal (the PayPal is set up to debit my bank account; fortunately the charges had not been submitted to the bank yet as of when I caught it.)
4) Sent Apple customer service an email letting them know that the purchase was unauthorized.
Anything else I need to do to protect myself? The security leak seems to have come only thru apple, I don't have any notice of any other charges.
Yours in panic,
MtO
