Leonard Nimoy has said he's attended his last Star Trek convention and gave a speech which he closed with the signature Spock catchphrase, "Live Long and Prosper."
The occasion was the 45th annual Star Trek convention, held over the weekend in Chicago. Leonard Nimoy was one of the first of the series' regulars to attend these gatherings shortly after the series was canceled. He has made appearances regularly over the last four decades, much to the delight of impassioned admirers of the show and its philosophical, futuristic underpinnings.
