That is a song sung (by Data) in a recent Star Trek movie, but nobody I tell believes me when I say that it is ALSO sung by Cap'n Kirk in an original series episode. has anyone here seen the episode I am talking about?

I've seen every episode of the original Star Trek a few dozen times... I never saw the aforementioned song by Kirk...

The song "Lifeforms" wasn't in a TNG episode, it was in the movie Star Trek: Generations.

Now, someone kick me for knowing that.

I don't think that song was on the William Shatner album. In any event, it's not listed on this album:
