Tonight wasn't on my short list of favorite episodes, but it's a lot nearer to the old SUPERNATURAL that I semi-fell in love with than they've been in a long time. I credit the absence of Leviathan and, save for the very welcome reveal at the end, the absence of being part of a long plot arc of any kind.

I loved the scene where Dean went back in for the flask, and he looks right at Bobby and says, "There you are!" (and then we realize he meant the flask). Damned near broke my heart.
