Is anyone in particular credited with "creating" the Bermuda/Devil's Triangle?

I first heard the term in '71 or '72.

I have a feeling it started with Flight 19, but that's just a WAG.

According to the US Navy History Pages:
Vincent Gaddis, credited with putting the triangle "on the map" in a 1964 Argosy feature, described the triangle as extending from Florida to Bermuda, southwest to Puerto Rico and back to Florida through the Bahamas.

You can find this and other Bermuda Triangle information at http://www.history.navy.mil/faqs/faq8-1.htm .

Funny, though, the Navy doesn't seem to subscribe to the supernatural theories.

Cecil answered this one already.

I don't know if it's in the archives, since the search engine has dissappeared in the Triangle, it would seem...

I've never helped Satan before, unless atheism qualifies. The column to which he is referring can be found here-

Enjoy!
