just what defines a college graduate... I have an "Associate in Arts degree" does a 2 year degree at a communtity college qualify?? I have the AA degree and 108 college credit hours towards a biology degree and a completed geology minor. But I am working in a pet store. Just what does it take to be taken seriously and hired in the field you want? I am soon moving to the las vegas area and am worried that I wont be able to find a job. am I destened to a future of monotany and boredom???????

when applying for a job in las vegas remember that its important to check you're resume and cover letter for things like proper spelling and capitolization, and punctuation... that way you're potential employer wont toss them in the trash.

A "college graduate" is someone with a college degree. You have an Associate's degree, so you can claim to be a graduate, though on any resume, you'll be expected to list the degree and institution. You can't yet claim to have a Bachelor's degree, which is more likely what someone wants.

Still, an A.A. and all those credit hours won't automatically disqualify you as long as you can show other skills.

It sounds like you might be close enough to knock it out with one semester.

Depends on the field and the position in that field. If you're looking for a job in biology, depends on whether you want to be a doctor, a research specialist, a high school teacher, a museum curator, a librarian in a medical library, a bacterium, or ...

Well, if you can "capitolize" Vegas in place of Carson City, you can probably run for the state legislature -- or against it.
