I am thinking of changing my major. Does anybody know of a website that you can use to research different careers and/or career salaries?

http://www.vault.com - It has a lot of information and message boards about a variety of careers, colleges, grad schools, and companies.

http://www.wetfeet.com - Pretty much the same thing.

Also check out publications like Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Fortune, Industry Standard, Business Week, etc. They have a lot of info about different companies and jobs.

Keep in mind that salary should not be your only consideration when choosing a career. Remember, you will be spending half of your waking hours in your field of choice for the next 40 years. (If you're a lawyer, more than half). It better be something you enjoy.

And don't forget that you can always change your mind and do something different if you're not happy. :)
