Replete with a link to Midweek Book Puzzle IV (http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=71717) if anyone wants to finish it off.
Anyway, for this weeks puzzle I have laid out a few simple straightforward clues the catch being that the answers are all palindromes. Example
a dark elf's blade-"drow's sword"
Bearing this unusual property in mind, try your luck on the rest of these:
1. colourless troubadour
2. spacious bog
3. what a white hole might do
4. my Japanese car
5. the place that lions hold in the food chain
6. a sour dipteran
7. the slowness of a storm?
8. an unpleasant thing to have to do in the morning...especially when you are tired and were looking forward to the caffiene...
9. what Sirius could be chasing
Have fun.
