View Full Version : CecilAdams fights Ignorance
Fern Forest

That's right, as you read this our faithful CecilAdams is on the hunt for Ignorance at TechonSphere (http://www.technosphere.org.uk/) and if he manages to track the little blighter down and eat him I will take everyone down to Duke's for a drink. Ummmm 5 per week. So follow the adventures of CecilAdams (1256533) and Ignorance (1256534)
If you want to provide more cud chewing fodder for little Cecil please go right ahead, you don't have to make your own risks but it'll be nice. So bust out your thesaurus or maybe you wanna put your favorite fundie in. Feed little Cecil, his hungry.

I had a creature running around the technoshpere a while ago. He was eaten within two days, childless. I haven't had the heart to try again. I hope virtual-Cecil has better luck.

yeah, I put it a second one but it went the same way. But what can you expect from a world with more carnivores then herbivores. But on the plus side I don't have to pay out.
BTW update Carni-Cecil has killed and is expecting a LittleCecil sometime tonight, exciting.

My first herbivore is dead:

Age 0.24
Born 5.34
Died 5.58
Well that was 'minutes of fun'.
Guess I'll have to make some more critters.

My little carnivore hasn't killed anything. It appears its first priority was mating. :) No conception though. Oh, well. Try, try again I guess

Any idea if this site is not working or what?
I made a couple of new critters a few days ago, but the maps are down and I have no info whether they were put into the game or not (they still let you make creatures, they just have nowhere to go).

It's back up. CecilAdams still has not given birth but I made several new Ignorances. Maybe he'll get one. 1264879 and 1268488. I'm glad EdZotti is still up and kicking. Especially considering the great die off of herbivores.
I went mad creating herbivores last night and now have 2 carnis and 22 herbis. 3 of which are Ignorance. If everybody makes a few Ignorances maybe Cecil will get one.
RIP firesign. I hope your young one lives to carry on your name. (firesignII 1257274))

Yeah, carnivores are basically shit. Mine, Steve, hasn't eaten anything or even moved hardly and I made him before that randy little bugger Miguel. :(
I think it's just because everyone who goes on the site thinks 'Yeah! A carnivore! That would be cool!' so carnivores outnumber herbivores and never have enough food. Herbivores are the way to go.

Ain't they? um, but don't turn your back, these things have a fecundity that leaves rabbits and even gerbils behind. I think only the tribble can match them. I see you've got 9 children now, 3 Cecil Juniors already! Better buy a bigger house, stat!

Both my original creatures, Tansu (1294677) and Denayi (1294674), are dead. Tansu would have stood a better chance had it not waited until it was weak from hunger before attempting to hunt.

You have to go to one of their special sites at either Bradford, Eng, Sydney, AU or Irvine, California. For the rest of us all we can see are the maps, and to see what our creature looks like the 'info' page.
A moment of silence for my first herbivore. Sholbrook is no more. However it took 15 tries to bring her down. Ha!

A wee bit of an update.
After seeing this thread I created Proteus (#1464027), and he's doing quite well. His event list (http://www.technosphere.org.uk/cgi-bin/events.exe?id=1464027) shows so far that he's tried to get a couple of other creatures pregnant (and now has one child), but now he, himself, is pregnant.
What I found so amusing was that copulation was attempted by none other than Satan. I don't know if Brian reads here anymore, but I thought he would find that most amusing. :D
