The thread about sneaking into a Mormon temple got me thinking of the "Skull&Bones" society.
Did anyone ever sneak in there to find out what really goes on?
I read once that some did sneak in, but when it was empty and found some weiiiird stuff.
Any info on this society that "our" president was in?

Strangely, I was actually looking up information on them just a few days ago. The problem is that the majority of websites are conspiracy theory sites. They are connected with the Illuminati, run the country, etc. The usual stuff. It's extremely hard to find actual information on it. I *have* heard a rumor that Garry Trudeau (creator of Doonesbury) was a member of the Scroll and Key, a rival society at Yale, and was able to break into their "tomb" one time. Reportedly, he left graffiti in the form of one of his comic characters. Other than this, I haven't heard of any non-"bonesman" seeing the inside.
As you may or may not know, the movie "The Skulls" was modeled on Yale and the Skull and Bones society. Not the deeds, but the setting and rumored "rituals."
Here are a few web sites for information, although you should take everything in them with a grain of salt.
A magazine article (http://www.freedomdomain.com/secretsocieties/skull02.html) from 1977.
A Salon article (http://www.salon.com/books/it/2000/01/21/bones/) from 2000.
A photograph (http://lcweb2.loc.gov/pnp/det/4a10000/4a19000/4a19600/4a19638r.jpg) of the tomb, circa 1903-1915.
A site (http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/8425/BONES.HTM) that says the S&B forms an elite ruling class in America. It might have a few rumors of interest, but not much else.
A conspiracy theory site (http://www.parascope.com/articles/0997/skullbones.htm), which provides, at the least, amusing reading.

I had heard there was another very recent article wherein the author followed them around on tap night with infrared. But I can't find it. "The Observer" rings a bell.
