There is a scene from a Japanese animation movie I saw, years ago, that vividly sticks in my mind. It was 15 years ago, give or take a few years. I've wanted to find this movie for some time now but I have little to go on. Here is what I remember.
Two Armies. Great battle. Bad army alot of mutant type creatures. Setting was fantasy(i.e. swords and kung-fu)
The specific scene I remember goes as such:
Good army sends a messenger to the other side. This messenger was a half bird half man type creature. He gives his message. In the room (IIRC), there are people surrounding cauldron. They put a fish in the cauldron then pull it out. All that is left is bone, still flipping around like a live fish. The next scene shows the bad army throwing the bird man into the cauldron.
OK, I know it's not much to go on. Being that the scene is so specific, I thought there would be some anime freaks on the boards who could help. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I believe I saw as a part of Kung Fu Theatre and it was a movie, not an animated series.So, If anyone remembers this, let me know. And give me an idea how to get this movie on VHS. Thanks!
