Forum Forum (for, um...)

In light of several recent threads in About This Message Board and elsewhere, I propose that we create a new forum devoted entirely to proposals for new fora. That way, people could happily suggest new ways to expand and codify the range of topics on the Straight Dope Message Board without cluttering up other areas.

I disagree.

I think we need more new forums than that: One would be a forum to propose new forums to consider the forums that will be discussed in your proposed forums.

Another could be a forum to discuss forums that will be debated in my first proposed forum before they graduate to your proposed forums.

And so on.

I also propose a new forum to discuss whether the plural of "forum" is "forum", "fora" or "get a life, you loser"*.

*When I asked someone what the plural of "forum" was, this is the answer I got. I never did understand the intricacies of Latin conjugation.

Conjugation refers to verbs (eg. ero, eris, erit, erimus, eritus, erunt)

Nouns have declintions.
