After 'West Wing' is supposed to be 'Law and Order'. I expected it. I looked forward to it. Instead, I got a crapfest called 'Law and Order-Criminal Intent'. It was horrible. I feel dirty.
'CI' blows, as does 'SVU'. IMHO, 'Law and Order' understood something that it's spawns do not. That the investigation and prosecution are interesting. I don't care about the cops or lawyers so much. I don't care that much how they 'feel' or anything about their private lives. The show is not about them, but their jobs. 'Law and Order' is relatively simple, where 'CI' and 'SVU' try to be complex. Complexity breeds overacting!(Yeah, I'm talkin bout you, Vincent!)

Anyhoo, where is 'Law and Order' if not Wednesday at 10? For the love God, help me. I have no TV Guide!

But no CI. CI is crap.

And as for the original, well I have to say that new lawyer chick has me freaked. It's like, she's real hot so I look at her, but then I can't help but notice that she's the worst actress ever.

But I do look forward to her porn career.

SVU has Mariska Hargity, who makes it worth it all by herself. FWIW, I have no chance as she is apparently equally obsessed with Robert DeNiro. Go figure.

I have to add my voice to the chorus that thinks "SVU" is all right. Mariska Hargitay can eat crackers in my bed anytime. Besides, Dann Florek as the captain is one of the best things about the original "L&O" and I was glad to see him back on "SVU."

That being said, the original is still the best and it's the only one of the whole bunch that's appointment television.

I was very annoyed that it was CI last night, too! I don't mind SVU too much. It's very similar in style to Law and Order Original Recipe.

My biggest problem with CI is that that bad guy is usually a well-know actor or actress. So, if you recognize the face, you know who did it. Okay, so you still have to find out why or how, but you know who right away.

And why did the sort of chunky main cop think that it would be good to act manic with the manic homeless man?

I should have known there would be a thread about this. As soon as the Law & Order: Criminal Intent credits came up, I went to NBC.com to check. With no explanation, they were advertising Law & Order: Criminal Intent for the 17th and saying that TOS would be on next Wednesday. I turned off the TV. For me, it's the original or nothing.

Fortunately, you can now get L&O fixes from both A&E and TNT. I can hardly wait for the all Law & Order channel. "L&O: The only channel with 24 hours of Law & Order!" Hey, if they can do it for Biography...
