Now, I've only been hanging out here for a few weeks, so I'm still fairly new, and seeing as how this is a question that's bothered mankind since, well, pretty much the existance of time, I'm sure it's been covered before, but could someone shed a bit of light on me and answer me this:
Does the Texas Double Whopper exist outside of Texas?

Dunno, but it's mentioned on the Web (http://www.flavor-online.com/anderson.html).

Probably not. But then again, I live in Michigan, the Home of Bland Foods (tm). In order to get even remotely spicy food, I have to order everything "extra hot." And that's just to get mild pepper sauce on my burritoes. *sigh*
My WAG is that it really depends on local tastes--if they run towards spicy foods then managers will pick up spicier variants. Call it localization.

Burger King advertised and sold the Texas Whopper in Nebraska. I don't know if they had a doubled version.
