Or is it just me?

I'd post links, but every thread I visited in the last few minutes had posts missing, leading me to think that a) it's boardwide and everybody knows what I'm talking about or b) that it's just me.

Well, are you talking about moderators actually deleting posts? If so, some thread examples, please?

Otherwise, are you talking about when the Forum Main Page sometimes doesn't update with the post you just added? Sometimes the server is just kinda sluggish (the hamster hasn't had his coffee yet) and it takes a while for posts to catch up to their threads. ;)

Naw, neither. At least I don't think mods were deleting posts.

What it was (it's gone now), but whole threads would appear, but some posts (randomly, it seemed) would have no text in them. A couple mods' posts were included in this, IIRC.

But, well, it's gone now. Coinciding, strangely, with my sobriety. (Just kidding. Though everything is peachy keen again.)

My motto when dealing with strange problems reported by software users - Ignore them long enough, and they'll go away. (At least the users, and in some cases even the problems.)

Hmm . . . this is odd.

I'll report this to the techs, but it may mean something .. . it may mean nothing.

If you see anything strange (well, okay, stranger than normal, anyway), please report it to us soonest. A post on the board is okay but an email to us is better.

Some posts did go missing when the board was hacked a few months back, but I think that was just because the techs rolled back to an earlier backup, so it was as if the posts had never happened, it was weird because the links stored in my browser pointed to entirely different threads after it was all fixed, because the links are all based on a numeric thread/post ID, so we went back from, say Post 12345 to 12300, then the next 45 posts were brand new ones, but my browser still had links to their titles as they were before.
