Silly thread I know, but what the hey, I'll pick Eric Idle. He's got a wonderful singing voice, and I think he's gorgeous.
- Skijumper, who watched too much Flying Circus last night.

I think I'd enjoy a good round of "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" with Gwenneth Paltrow.

I actually sort of did this once. I was a night-shift bellhop at Charlotte's airport Holiday Inn. I was there when he and his entourage arrived. One Rolls-Royce (yellow) and two Mercedes. He got out of the Rolls, of course, bedecked head to toe in pink, green, and yellow plumage. He entered the lobby with women clinging to his arms, while his bodyguards stood around him. It was quite a sight. One of his guys signed in the group, and they took an array of suites on the top floor.
About 3:00 in the morning, I was asleep at, er, um, manning the switchboard while the night auditor napped, er, worked in the back office. The board beeped and woke me up. Instinctively, I picked up and said, "Holiday Inn Airport, may I help you?"
"Y'all have a baby grand in the restaurant."
Groggy, I said, "The restaurant is closed, sir."
"Okay. Sly wanted to jam on the piano."
Heart attack. I shook myself awake and saw that the call was originating from one of the suites.
"Sly Stone wants to play the piano? Sir, the restaurant just re-opened! Tell him to come on down!"
He did. They did. We all went in the restaurant and I sat on the piano bench beside of Sly while he played and sang! I know this doesn't sound like a big deal, but I was really thrilled. We drank beer and smoked several big fat doobies, and he listened to me play a song I had written, AND HE JOINED IN AND PLAYED beautiful treble arpeggios along with me.
It was wonderful. One of my most treasured experiences.
Anyway, sorry for the long story.

Me and Nicole Kidman singing the "Elephant Love Medley" as heard in Moulin Rouge. Call me a sucker, but I enjoyed the hell out of that movie, and she's hot.

Steve Perry. "Open Arms." I'd have my mouth hanging open but (thankfully for the audience) no sound would be coming out.
Gawd, he can belt out a tune.

I think that I'd like to sing something, anything, with Rosanne. There is no way that my singing could seem that bad next to her.

Somebody doesn't want any competition! ;)
My serious pick would be Nancy Wilson (of Heart). Ann would be too intimidating, though I wouldn't mind trying.
My good-time pick would be Ben Browder, whom I imagine is quite a ham when he wants to be.
My non-serious pick would be Stevie Nicks -- since she could benefit from having the lyrics right in front of her.

"Weird Al" Yankovic, preferably on Dare to be Stupid, as that was the tune that got me first hooked on Al.
