I assume he thinks there's a big enough gulf between Man U and the rest of the Premiership that he can play around with developing a system that will win the Champions League. But, actually, I have no idea, either.

I do think we can assume he'll carry on with this – trying to get whatever the hell he's playing at right – for some time because, if nothing else, he's a pig-headed SOB.
