You know what, this site (GQ) is a friggin joke, I am fed up. No one knows how to think on their own, everyone gets offended, everyone is oblivious to the joke "needle in the ass", conveyor belt healthcare system, no one wants to stop being ENTERTAINED by the message board for a second while they actually ponder the relevant issues of the day, no one wants to make a difference and test common knowledge, everyone is seething at the mouth for a chance to correct somebody's meaningless error, and so on. Just admit it.
The Straight Dope will never make a difference with the things that matter, it is just a place where people's asses get flatter from sitting in front of a screen, heads getting puffed up by knowledge. I bet it makes you feel really good when you get to point out other people's errors, isn't that the main attraction here? Top priority is to make sure no one's wrong, while no one ever gets around to being right. Joke. End of Story.
Most of you in GQ are pompous and you know it, so keep it up. I can't wait to see where it will take ya. Until then, keep "fighting ignorance" with your own style of sloppy ignorance. Popular opinion is the boat that so many people jump on, it eventually sinks. See if I throw out a line.
