That's a different claim from the one computationalism makes, though. I'm not entirely sure about what kind of claim, though---what, exactly, do you mean by consciousness being 'a set of transformations'? To me, consciousness is far more a certain way of being, namely, one where it is like something to be me, where I have qualitative subjective experience. What kind of transformations are you thinking of?
