Calling all former MacGuyver fans...

Just now, I heard the name "Murdoch", and it reminded me of one of my favorite 80's TV shows. Murdoch was, of course, MacGyver's arch-rival and would-be assassin. A Murdoch encounter always ended with Murdoch apparently getting killed, only he always managed to survive and re-appear about a year later. Whatever happened to him? Someone told me that they finally killed him for good in one of the last episodes, but I missed that one. Does anybody know the straight dope?

In his final attempt at MacGyver, Murdoc drives a Jeep intending to run Mac over. However, MacGyver dives out of the way and Murdoc and the jeep go flying over the cliff. Not-surprisingly, his body was never found, and in this final-season episode, he calls Mac on the telephone and simply laughs maniacally and hangs up. So ends the story?
